Meet Kat
As a Broker and Real Estate Professional, Kat has spent over three decades immersed in lending and real estate in over six states. Bringing a unique perspective in two demanding real estate fields, her depth of knowledge and remarkable ability to quickly adapt and navigate various and often volatile real estate markets have been the cornerstone of her continued top performance.
Kat’s strengths lie in the details and her client testimonials reflect her commitment and unprecedented level of follow-through for those whom she represents, which often leads the most discerning buyers and sellers her way. Kat's strong work ethic and deep regard for honesty and integrity are at the core of her character. Her clients become 'ohana' (family) and communication extends far beyond a sale. Some of her best friends are prior clients in other states!
Besides Kat’s successful real estate career, she has enjoyed freelance writing and editing, publishing a book on Hawaii, "The Real Hawaii Life: True Stories of Relocations to Hawaii". She has also earned a BS in Counseling Psychology and an MA in Education. She previously taught Kindergarten through high school (English) and has served on the Board of REALTORS® Grievance and Professional Standards Committee, and Professional Network Committee she was also chosen for a coveted spot in the Leadership Academy.
In addition, Kat has raised four children, who all reside on the mainland, along with two grandchildren. She is married to Nathan, a chiropractor on the island, with whom she enjoys everything Kaua’i has to offer. Originally from rural Iowa, and having relocated to seven different states, Kat became an expert in relocation, which led to publishing her book, The Real Hawaii Life, True Stories of Relocations to Hawaii.
